Introduction
تأسست جمعية الشهادة للإسكان (ASHA) كجمعية إسكانية يقودها مسلمون، وهي الأولى من نوعها في المملكة المتحدة عام ١٩٨٩. وبصفتها مؤجرًا اجتماعيًا مسجلًا، دأبت ASHA على توفير السكن في بيوت الشباب والشقق والمنازل في منطقتي لامبيث وساوثوارك اللندنيتين المرموقتين. ورغم تأسيسها كجمعية إسكانية ذات توجه ديني، إلا أنها تعمل كمنظمة عامة يمثل مجلس إدارتها ومستأجروها وموظفوها ديانات ومجتمعات متنوعة. نقدم خدماتنا بغض النظر عن العرق أو اللون أو التوجه الديني. يمكنكم الاطلاع على أداءنا هنا .
تأسست ASHA عام 1987 كتعاونية. تم دمج الجمعية كجمعية صناعية وإدخارية في يونيو 1988. ثم توسعت ASHA بسرعة في مخزونها إلى حوالي 400 مساحة سرير قصيرة العمر في أربع مقاطعات بما في ذلك برنت وبارنت. تم تسجيل ASHA لدى مؤسسة الإسكان في مارس 1991. وقد أعادت الآن أو اشترت وأعادت تطوير معظم عقاراتها قصيرة العمر. يوجد لدى ASHA حاليًا 154 منزلًا للاحتياجات العامة و 51 مساحة سريرية في نزل. نحن نوفر السكن في أحياء لندن لامبيث وساوثوارك وكرويدون. لقد استوعبنا عقارات من مقدمي خدمات مسجلين آخرين ونستمر في الاحتفاظ بها ضمن محفظتنا. تعمل مخططات الإقامة المحمية للمستأجرين الناضجين / الذين تزيد أعمارهم عن 55 عامًا في عقارات ASHA منذ أكثر من 10 سنوات. تتميز ASHA في هذا القطاع بامتلاكها غالبية كبيرة من عقاراتها ولديها محفظة من الشقق والمنازل. تهدف ASHA إلى دخول مجال الإقامة المدعومة والمعيشة المدعومة في المستقبل القريب.
لاحظت منظمة ASHA اتجاهًا ناشئًا يتمثل في ترك الأشخاص المعرضين للخطر بدون مأوى بسبب وضعهم الاجتماعي، وشرعت في رحلة فريدة من نوعها لإنشاء شراكة خاصة بين ASHA، وهي منظمة يقودها مسلمون، وكنيسة ميثودية، لمعالجة مشكلة الإسكان للأشخاص المعرضين للخطر.
استأجرت منظمة آشا مبنىً يُعرف باسم نُزُل، لتوفير مساكن فردية للأشخاص من جميع الخلفيات الذين لم يتمكنوا من الحصول على مساكن آمنة. وتواصل آشا البحث عن شراكات تُسهم في تخفيف أزمة السكن وتوفير حلول فريدة للمجتمع. وقد حافظت آشا على قيمها الاجتماعية من خلال مشاركتها في برامج تُحسّن وضع المستأجرين والمجتمع ككل، مثل تعزيز فرص العمل، والتعلم مدى الحياة، والمشاركة السياسية، والإدماج الديني، والحوار.
ركزت خططنا للنمو على دعم السكن، لا سيما في منطقة ميدلاندز. وقد سجلنا حاليًا حوالي 3232 وحدة سكنية لدى العديد من مقدمي الخدمات، وذلك بموجب ترخيص شريكنا الإداري، شركة Tenants UK Housing. ونظرًا لأننا بدأنا كجمعية إسكان متخصصة، نخدم مجتمعي الأقليات العرقية والعرقية (السود والآسيويين) والمسلمين في لندن، فإننا نركز بشكل خاص على توفير السكن للفئات المحرومة. لذلك، نوفر السكن للفئات التالية تحديدًا، مع طلب جهات خارجية من أجهزة الشرطة وغيرها لتوفير المزيد:

We recognise that we must increase our efforts and scale in order to provide more and better-quality Housing accommodation and support for the ever-increasing demand, both in the immediate locality of our roots but also across the UK in areas where our need is most. Ash-Shahada fulfils a unique role in that it is the only Muslim led housing association providing accommodation in South London.
WE OFFER A FULL HOUSING SERVICE
Accomodation
All our properties are offered to the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Croydon through our nominations agreement. We do however operate a hostel scheme for single people through referral agencies.
Maintenance
As landlords we take the responsibility to ensure all our tenanted properties are in a wind and weatherproof condition and that all appliances for hot water and space heating are in general good repair and a serviceable condition.
Appropriate Housing Options
We have housing in the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Croydon and Southwark. We have 128 permanent dwellings in management in Lambeth, 21 in Southwark and 5 in Croydon. We also have 51 bed spaces in two hostels.
