Alice Hainsworth

Alice Hainsworth is a senior housing and operational leader with more than 20 years’ experience across housing associations, local authorities and national charities. She is currently Interim Executive Director of Services at the Refugee Council, where she leads national refugee, asylum and integration services supporting approximately 15,000 people each year.

Alice previously held Director of Operations and Director of Business Development roles at Evolve Housing + Support and has led housing, homelessness, supported housing and community services across several London boroughs. Her experience includes safeguarding, service transformation, regulatory compliance, risk management, business development and improving outcomes for residents with complex needs.

Alice joined the Ash-Shahada Housing Association Board in August 2026. She serves on the Regulatory Oversight and Business Development working groups, contributing her expertise in governance, housing regulation, service quality, development and organisational assurance.
