About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Support Assistant to provide short-term operational and project support across key housing and compliance functions. This role is essential in ensuring that property, tenancy, and regulatory processes are delivered efficiently and in line with Supported Exempt Accommodation requirements.
You will work closely with internal teams, support providers, managing agents, and local authorities to maintain accurate records, coordinate project activities, and support service improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, confident working with data, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Support Assistant will support a range of operational and project-based activities, including:
Supporting the delivery of operational and project tasks aligned with organisational and regulatory requirements
Preparing, verifying, and submitting property and tenancy information to local authorities and managing agents
Maintaining accurate records relating to compliance documents, and tenancy activity
Acting as a point of contact for tenants, support providers, managing agents, and local authorities
Drafting professional correspondence and maintaining organised communication logs
Coordinating multi-agency communication to support compliance and collaborative working
Monitoring task progress and supporting timely delivery of project milestones
Producing accurate data, reports, and updates for senior management
Working collaboratively with support providers to ensure tenants receive appropriate support
Contributing to continuous improvement and identifying more efficient ways of working
Upholding organisational values and representing the organisation professionally
Carrying out any other duties relevant to the role as required by management
Essential Requirements
Experience in an administrative, project support, or housing-related role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent attention to detail, particularly in data management and record keeping
Experience working with external agencies or multi-stakeholder environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyse information and present it clearly
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, or housing processes
Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in housing, social housing, or supported accommodation
Experience working with external agencies or multi-stakeholder environments
Understanding of exempt accommodation requirements
Experience supporting projects or service improvement initiatives
Familiarity with process mapping or improvement methodologies
Experience handling sensitive or complex information
