Hamza Yaqub

Hamza Yaqub joined the Association in 2023 as a Systems and Data Officer and has been serving as the IT and Facilities Officer since 2026. In this role, he leads on digitalisation initiatives, manages the organisation's IT infrastructure, and supports the effective operation of office facilities. As a full-time member of staff, he plays a key role in driving technological improvements, strengthening data management practices, providing IT support to colleagues, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the organisation's physical and digital environment.

He holds a Master's degree in International Business with Distinction from the University of Hertfordshire, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He has also undertaken a range of professional development courses to further enhance his skills in technology, data management, and organisational improvement.

Hamza has a strong background in systems, data, and technology, supported by previous experience as a front-end web developer and internships across a variety of organisations. His work focuses on improving operational efficiency, supporting informed decision-making through data and reporting, and enhancing services through the effective use of technology. He has played a key role in advancing the Association's digital transformation agenda, helping to modernise processes, strengthen information management, and improve the experience of both staff and residents. Outside of his professional role, Hamza is actively involved in community engagement and regularly supports charitable and fundraising initiatives.
